Fiver -Watership Down-

Fiver. He is probably my favorite design I did for the show. I wanted to keep him thin and delicate, young, vulnerable looking but strong like a runt. We gave him Bowie eyes for our love for David Bowie. We thought it would be cool narratively as well since Fiver is a see-er to have two different colored eyes which made it into the film I was happy to see. We also explored giving him a harelip but that didn’t end up happening.. maybe I will show some outtakes like that after the Main course here.
